Family Turns To Facebook When Son Disappears

Facebook, and sites like it, frequently gets bad publicity with comments like "it's a waste of time", "it's dangerous", "you have no privacy". It's nice to see that these social networking sites can really have a positive impact in many way, including finding missing people.

- If I could travel with my dog, I would definitely use the pet airline. I don't kennel her and would feel much more secure about being able to fly on the same plane (and within visual range).

- Mick Smit, you are arguing from a purely Christian point of view. there are other religions. But..arguing from a purely Christian POV, #2 is invalid because out of evil comes good, so God wouldn't want to prevent all evil from happening.

- onewoman1 - that's actually my concern. when you start to legistlate "common sense" and what's appropriate, you start legistlating morality and legislating individual decisions and rights totally out of the picture.

- Totally agree. I have a teeny dog (the kind that fits in a crate under a seat), but if she were larger and we needed to travel, I'd absolutely use that airline. I hope that find major success!

- I've never wondered if humans conform to cat behavior. I know they do. I cat sat for a friend of mine while she was on vacation and after two days, my entire routine, sleep patterns, eating habits...my life conformed to Max's commands. I'm one of those "dog people" who absolutely adores cats.
